Bardia created Let’s Smile Boston in 2018 to increase proper oral hygiene among children using his extensive background in dental assisting, dental research, shadowing, and tutoring. He hopes to one day increase the dental education of all children across the country.

Communications Committee

With her background of teaching and coaching, Jessica is excited and passionate about spreading oral health awareness to the young members of the Boston community. She hopes to further her own knowledge of dentistry as well as share knowledge she has already acquired through volunteering and shadowing.

Alexis is focused on creating successful connections with key schools in various communities to promote the importance of oral hygiene. She strives to be an avid communicator of the necessity of oral hygiene to overall health as she has seen its positive impact through her experience in dental assisting, shadowing, and medical service.

samuel (sam) fernandez

Communications Committee

Sam joined Let's Smile Boston in the spring of 2019. He has years of experience volunteering with kids, most recently at the Boy's and Girl's club in Minnesota. He hopes to use both his experience with kid's programs, and dental knowledge from research and shadowing to help create and improve oral health programs in Boston.

Communications Committee

Shruti is a member of the Communications Commitee. Her role is to reach out to schools to set up oral hygiene workshops to ensure that all children know proper oral hygiene care! Shruti enjoys interacting with children and utilizes her experience working in dental offices to shape a positive attitude towards dentistry in children starting at a younger age!

Rebecca joined Let's Smile in the Fall of 2019. Using the skills she has developed from her past volunteer work in clinical settings, she strives to help local students understand the importance of having good oral hygiene and how to achieve it on a daily basis.

Elizabeth (Lizzy) Nevins

Communications Committee

Elizabeth Nevins has been volunteering with kids for several years in a variety of capacities from child day care to working as a teaching assistant at an elementary school. She comes from a family of dental professionals and aspires to share the knowledge she has acquired from them with the next generation.

Ashley Tay

Recruitment Committee

Ashley is currently a Sophomore studying Health Science at Boston University. She enjoyed the experience of interacting with elementary school students in a classroom setting, throughout her four years in high school as a part-time job. Her hope is that children will begin to view health as important and interesting from a young age.
